The Ultra Project and Programme function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programmes. The function controls programme costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares, develop, and coordinate a detailed integrated master plan/schedules (IMP/IMS) for all budgeted work, incorporates changes, challenges inputs to the schedules from the control account managers, utilizing standard industry tools such as MS Project, Deltek, etc.
- Prepares integrated schedules for all budgeted work, incorporates changes, challenges inputs to the schedules from the cross functional team, and aggressively resolves issues
- Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to track program performance and schedule adherence
- Proficient practical knowledge of Program Management processes and requirements
- Coordinate with Cross functional team Planning, Engineering, Program Management, and Production Control function(s) to incorporate status (timely completion of program deliverables) and changes to schedules and operate the baseline change request process
- Monitor and report on schedule progress, comparing planned versus actual performance the program needs. Perform critical path analysis and provide regular reports on program timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Types of schedules to include Gantt charts, network diagrams, and milestones schedules
- Prepare and present schedule-related reports for management, highlighting key schedule variances and forecasted milestones
- Perform Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, providing clear and actionable feedback to program teams
- Make/recommend substantial improvements to systems and processes
- Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other program management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry best practices related to program scheduling Communicate within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (eg, customers, vendors, etc) when necessary
- Explain, interpret, and gain cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices
- Participate in schedule training, engineering, and program excellence organization
- Work to achieve operational targets within job area with some impact on department results
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior Program Scheduler experience
- 4 years or more experience in Program Management processes and requirements
- 4 years or more experience at an intermediate level in MSProject
- 4 years or more experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- 4 years or more experience in Earned Value Management
- Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance
- Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs
- Experience creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables that reflect risk and status to program management and senior management relating to the IMS is required
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Curiosity, a drive to understand plans and objectives sufficiently to create accurate schedule model representations including logical links and parallel path options
- Experience as a MS Project Online or Project server administrator
- Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
- Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis)
- Agile Development methodologies associated with EVMS
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables
- Experience in macro development
- Ability to work with a team and on their own
- Experience working cross-functionally and can effectively communicate to accomplish strategic vision of Program Management Excellence Organization (PMEO)
Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Please note, this is the expected compensation however, Ultra Maritime considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
