Responsible for receiving and managing customer repair requests, coordinating repairs with the repair department, providing status updates to customers. Able to navigate and learn ERP systems.
Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue RMA’s to customers in support of funded or warranty repair scenarios
  • Owner of the repair tollgate process to ensure all activities are being properly tracked through the tollgates
  • Responsible for assigned tollgates to ensure units are inboarded, quoted and shipped in accordance with customer and internal requirements
  • Provide timely quotes (price and lead time) to the customers using various tools including Epicor ERP system and Excel
  • Work directly with customers via email, phone, etc to quote, schedule, repair and ship orders
  • Proactively obtain status of open orders and communicate timely with assigned customer the status of their orders
  • Partner with customers to provide acceptable level of tracking of units through the process
  • Performs metric tracking, problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain compliance of company policies, safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Efficiently manage multiple repair requests and maintain accurate records
  • Proficient in excel to maintain repair reports
  • Performs all other duties as required, requested or needed

Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to handle customer inquiries
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or associates degree with relevant work experience
  • Prior manufacturing experience with electro-mechanical parts or repair center preferred
Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience in managing or working within a repair value stream
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Lean manufacturing and transformation proven skills
  • High skill level in Microsoft office
  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
  • Proven experience in the application of lean manufacturing principles
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently on project assignments
  • Flexible working hours to meet business needs
  • Safety conscious and able to apply methodologies to improve processes
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • High level of interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Significant amount of time standing and walking through the production facility
  • Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Periodically may require longer working hours
