Chemical Process Engineer Position
ULTRA t Equipment Company is looking for an experienced Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) Engineer for our new-equipment design, build, and test group. The role is a major contributor in research and development efforts designing and building thin film deposition equipment based on novel CVD processes. In addition, the engineer will support application specific projects demonstrating the equipment capabilities, and exploring new materials for thin film applications.
Must have qualifications :
- BS or MS degree in relevant engineering ( chemical, materials , mechanical, or electrical) or science (physical chemistry or physics) discipline with 5 years of professional experience in CVD process engineering.
- Hands-on experience with and understanding of the fundamentals of CVD, ALD, and plasma or high-energy enhanced versions of thin film deposition.
- Hands-on experience with the design, build, and operation of thin film deposition equipment and processes.
- Hands-on experience with process monitoring and analysis techniques for thin film deposition (MFC, RGA, QCM, vacuum gauges) etc.
- CAD experience designing 3D models and detailed work and assembly drawings of components, systems, process flows, material flows, etc. in programs like SolidWorks and / or AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with vacuum systems used in CVD applications.
- Strong working knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and process engineering including experience with modeling of gas flow for thin film precursor chemistries from solid, liquid, and gas sources.
- Experience with thin film characterization techniques and equipment.
- Experience with collecting and analyzing complex data sets and monitoring multifaceted projects using design of experiments methods.
