Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform receiving inspection.
- Perform appropriate transactions in internal systems.
- Perform in process inspections as required.
- Perform Final QA Audit of Product as needed.
- Knowledge of the use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
- Maintain Receiving inspection files.
- Pull prints from files or electronic database.
- Interpret prints for measuring parts.
- Interface with Purchasing, Engineering and Shipping / Receiving departments.
- Most be flexible in schedule and available for Saturdays and OT as needed.
- Interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Shipping / Receiving departments.
Required Skills :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years in engineering / manufacturing / QA inspection and test
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization .
Desired Skills :
- Knowledge and use of basic hand tools and measuring tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Basic mathematic skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Position requires extensive sitting and / or standing and good eye-hand coordination.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to read small text and handwriting.
- Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks.
- Frequently required to stand.
- The employee must be able to visually examine parts and documents.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
