Ultratec Special Effects, a manufacturer of special effects equipment, is seeking a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Junior Service Technician to join us on our small Groveland, FL team. As a Junior Service Technician, you will receive and repair various machines from fog machines to snow machines to bubble machines and more!
Your Responsibilities as a Service Technician
As a Junior Service Technician, you are the key component in providing excellent customer service by providing high-quality maintenance services for our customer’s machines.
Here are your primary responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair machines.
- Provide cost estimates for repairs, under the guidance of fellow team.
- Effectively communicate with an internal and/or external customer to ensure they understand the services needed.
- Order parts internally and ensure efficient use of company materials.
- Ship machines back once repairs are performed and approved.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in all Microsoft programs
- Computer and software literacy for ordering and shipping
Previous experience of at least two years in appliance repair is a plus!
