Our Federal Delivery team is seeking an experienced Senior Security Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise security architecture design and implementation while providing expert guidance on complex security challenges within a federal environment.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement security architecture aligned with federal mandates including FISMA, RMF, and other federal requirements
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations
- Develop security reference architectures compliant with NIST frameworks (800-53, 800-171, 800-207)
- Lead implementation of Zero Trust Architecture per federal guidelines
- Provide subject matter expertise on FedRAMP, TIC 3.0, and CISA directives
- Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes through security control implementation
- Serve as technical escalation point for complex security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated from inception
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 10 years of cybersecurity experience, with 7 years in security architecture roles
- Deep understanding of federal security frameworks (NIST RMF, FISMA, CISA BOD 23-01)
- Experience implementing security controls per NIST SP 800-53
- Expertise with federal identity management standards (ICAM, FIPS 201)
- Proficiency in secure cloud architectures within FedRAMP environments
- Experience with CDM (Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation) program requirements
- Knowledge of PIV/CAC implementation and federal PKI standards
- Experience with federal supply chain risk management requirements (EO 14028)
- Bachelor or higher degree is cybersecurity or other relevant field
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CEH, Security , or CISM
- Experience with DevSecOps in federal environments
- Experience implementing NIST CSF and Zero Trust Architecture
- Background in federal IT modernization initiatives
- Hybrid work environment with 2 day/week on-site requirement near National Harbor, Maryland
- Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation - US Citizenship required
- Support for on-call rotation during security incident

Salary : $180,000 - $210,000
