Overview :
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager (APM)
This position is accountable for scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing multiple projects including but not limited to scheduling of crews and / or sub-contractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during the project to ensure quality and compliance with plans and specifications, while meeting budgetary requirements.

UMA is seeking a results-driven Assistant PM to join our team at our home office in Colfax, NC.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with accounting functions at the project site.
- Collect and process paperwork verifying for accuracy.
- Communicate daily with the project field personnel.
- Communicate with vendors and clients.
- Create opportunities as given from field.
- Create Job Start Notice (JSN) as requested by field / PO from client.
- Create JSN for PO change orders.
- Track and enter payroll (PR) hours and verified it is correct with GPS.
- Track and enter equipment hours
- Survey Time / Equipment and Transport Time / Equipment to be added to timesheets.
- Review and approve AP invoices in workflow, and contact vendor if invoice is incorrect or missing.
- Create PO requisitions and submit to vendors – store in project folder in server when returned with signature.
- Receive on PO’s once verified with field and track POs to increase / close.
- Create billing sheets as needed.
- Create billing roll-ups.
- Track billing to PO’s – total amount and material amounts for Field Glass PO’s.
- Client reports if needed and / or client system data entry if needed.
- Audit project to ensure all materials were billed.
