Position Title: Application Programmer V – Axiom

Location: Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer V with expertise in Axiom, Python, and SQL to join our team. This role involves hands-on development, configuration, and support for Axiom systems, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Axiom Development: Write and maintain Axiom code that is readable, performant, and supportable, based on technical specifications.
• Configuration: Configure Axiom from data sources, data models, and portfolio aggregations.
• Issue Analysis: Analyze and debug Axiom configuration issues, perform root cause analysis.
• PL/SQL Development: Develop and review PL/SQL code to support data integration into Axiom, and understand end-to-end data flow from databases to Axiom.
• Code Standards: Ensure that all code and configurations adhere to company and departmental standards.
• Requirement Review: Review requirement documents to ensure functional requirements are well understood.
• Performance Tuning: Review and optimize PL/SQL code for performance.
• Testing: Prepare and execute detailed unit tests for Axiom code within the Controller View.
• Implementation: Coordinate the implementation process, including code packaging and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Communication: Work with business counterparts and cross-functional teams for requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and delivery.
• Support: Provide ongoing support for business-as-usual (BAU) and post-implementation.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Experience: 3-4 years as an Axiom developer.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Axiom, Python, and SQL.
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of database structures and algorithms.
• PL/SQL: Experience in developing and optimizing PL/SQL code.
• BI Tools: Tableau experience or familiarity with other BI tools is a plus.
• Automation: Knowledge of scripting languages for automation activities.
  
  

Additional Information

• Hourly Pay Rate: $63 - $68
• Hourly Referral Rate: $4
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
