Overview

As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's procurement and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to ensure that our company's operational needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements and provide timely procurement support.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and high-quality sources of supply.
• Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities within the procurement function.
• Manage supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess supplier proposals and pricing models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
