Job Title: Registered Nurse – Inpatient Care Center
Location: Watertown Regional Medical Center
Shift: 12-hour, Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.), including every third weekend and every third holiday
Full-Time Position (0.9 FTE): 72 hours per pay period
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a 35-bed medical/surgical unit, including patients undergoing bone and joint procedures.
- Collaborate with hospitalist providers (physicians and nurse practitioners) to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and assess patient needs.
- Develop and implement care plans based on patient conditions and medical history.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient information in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Participate in the hospital's commitment to quality care, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for Healthcare Providers or within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Three years of current critical care RN experience.
- Current CMSRN certification or within 2 years of hire.
