Job Title: Bio-Process Associate (2nd Shift)
Location: Devens, MA (100% Onsite)
Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Rotating Schedule)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Bio-Process Associate to join our team in Devens, MA. This position is responsible for operating control systems and processes in a biotechnology pilot plant environment. The role involves preparing buffers and reagents, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in process operations and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate control systems and processes within a biotechnology pilot plant.
- Prepare process buffers and reagents as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area.
- Identify and report safety, maintenance, and operational variances to management.
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation of all activities.
- Monitor and log process data regularly.
- Successfully complete training programs and maintain proficiency in job functions.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based culture.
- Perform shift work and overtime as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of process operations experience.
- An A.A.S. or B.S. degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in bioprocessing, manufacturing, or related operations.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex equipment.
- Familiarity with general chemistry, microbiology, and mathematics is a plus.
- Prior experience working in a cGMP cleanroom environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and document written instructions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a structured training program with milestone evaluations.
Additional Information:
- Work in a cGMP laboratory and manufacturing environment following strict protocols.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), aseptic gowning, and chemical handling required.
- Employees must remain fit for duty and free from the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs.
- Shift rotation:
- 3 days on (Saturday-Monday), 2 days off (Tuesday-Wednesday), 2 days on (Thursday-Friday), 3 days off (Saturday-Monday).
- Training includes Biologics orientation, general knowledge training, and job-specific function training with milestone assessments at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
