Material Handler

Overview

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain management process, responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming materials
• Process and package orders for shipping
• Inventory management and stock rotation
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Inspect and maintain equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders
• Keep accurate records of inventory and transactions
• Organize warehouse space

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
