Toxicologist

Overview

As a Toxicologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting research and analysis to assess the potential adverse effects of chemicals, drugs, or other substances on human health and the environment. You will be responsible for providing expert toxicological advice and support for regulatory compliance and product safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and conducting toxicology studies to evaluate the safety of chemicals and products
• Interpreting and analyzing toxicological data to determine potential hazards and risks
• Preparing toxicological risk assessments and reports for regulatory submissions
• Providing toxicology expertise to cross-functional teams to support product development
• Evaluating and staying current with toxicological research and regulations

• Contributing to the development and implementation of toxicology testing strategies
• Participating in toxicological reviews and assessments of new substances and products
• Collaborating with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with toxicology regulations

• Providing toxicology training and guidance to junior staff and colleagues

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related field
• Proven experience in conducting toxicology studies and risk assessments
• Thorough understanding of toxicological principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
• Strong knowledge of toxicological databases, modeling tools, and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Experience in providing toxicology support for regulatory submissions and compliance
• Proficiency in interpreting and summarizing complex toxicological data
• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Publication record in toxicology-related scientific journals is preferred

• Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and compliance standards
