Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the SME in the TSYS application, providing guidance and insights to the testing team and stakeholders.
- Cards Domain Experience: Leverage your expertise in the cards domain to ensure thorough testing and validation of functionalities related to card processing and management.
- Functional Testing: Design and execute functional testing processes to validate software functionality against requirements, ensuring quality and performance.
- Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed test strategy and test plan, outlining the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities.
- Integration Test Management: Create, organize, and manage integration test cases, ensuring seamless interaction between various components of the application.
- Automated Regression Testing: Identify and execute automated regression test cases to enhance efficiency and ensure ongoing software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Defect Management: Triage and manage defects effectively, coordinating with development teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure quality delivery.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively identify risks associated with testing and project delivery, and take corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborative Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients, business analysts, and vendors to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable testing criteria.
- Automation Script Development: Execute, enhance, and debug automation scripts to streamline testing processes and improve coverage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in TSYS QA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the cards domain.
- At least 7 years of experience in functional testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Analytical Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and enhance testing processes.
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
