Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Assist and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess ultrasound findings
• Maintain and update patient records and image documentation
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and data protection regulations
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment for optimal performance
• Follow protocols and safety measures to minimize risks during ultrasound procedures
• Provide clear and concise explanations of ultrasound procedures to patients

• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the imaging department
• Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound technicians

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
• Valid state licensure as an ultrasound technologist
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound procedures and interpreting results
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic imaging and recording
