What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Order Picker position at Umarex USA?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Locate products using hand-held RF devices
- Utilize multiple types of powered industrial vehicles (forklifts) to retrieve items quickly and efficiently according to pick ticket
- Build pallets with orders and position them in appropriate loading dock area
- Securely wrap orders and mark with identifying information per customer requirements
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor
- Adhere to safety policies and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and warehouse
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Three to six months related experience preferred
- Able to read and write in English
- Basic mathematic competency
- Able to lift up to 50-pound boxes frequently
- Good physical strength and stamina with the ability to stand/walk for majority of shift
- Lift truck experience preferred and must be lift driver certified or be able to pass certification test
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Must be able to work overtime when required
