Job Summar y
University of Massachusetts Partnership for Worker Education is a joint educational partnership between the University (Division of Human Resources), AFSCME, USA / MTA, and PSU / MTA. The Instructor / Case manager is responsible for a number of PWE computer, ESOL and Culinary Basics courses geared to culinary employees in the State as well as providing individualized assistance to our program's participants.
Essential Functions
- Participate in the research and development of program curricula
- Teach program courses In Spanish (Basic computers, Basic Culinary skills, Culinary English for the workplace)
- Evaluate those courses
- Participate in program recruitment efforts (information sessions)
- Provide guidance to culinary new hires (case management activities)
- Some traveling required
