What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty Part-time, Digital Media - Screenwriting position at UMass Lowell?
General Summary of Position:
The Digital Media program at UMass Lowell is seeking an adjunct faculty to instruct to teach a course in screenwriting during the Spring of 2025 semester.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- An MA, MFA, terminal degree in a related field, or professional experience equivalent to a terminal degree is required. Successful candidates should have substantial experience in writing for screen or theater and demonstrated excellence in teaching at college level.
- one-year of college-level teaching experience
- demonstrated relevant scholarship/research/publication activity
Additional Considerations:
- Evidence that the candidate has already taught courses in the relevant field
