General Description
Utilizing and understanding aseptic practice and regulatory requirements you will ensure proper processing and on time delivery of sterile products to the Operating Room, Hospital Departments, Physician Offices and other off site clinical locations. Weekend and on call hours are required on a rotating basis.

Work Experience/Requirements
- Previous CSS experience required.
- Completion of an approved CSS course and National Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician through National Organizations of either IAHCSMM or CBSPD or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
- Is familiar with AAMI, AORN, OSHA, CDC and JC guidelines and recommendations.
