Pediatric Neurologist
Worcester, MA

About our Department or Division:
UMass Chan Medical School is consistently ranked one of thetop ten primary care teaching programs nationallyandis committed to major expansions in many areas of basic and clinical research as well as valuing promotion of clinical excellence.UMass Chan Medical School and Children's Medical Center, a member of the Children's Hospital Association, is the only tertiary care hospital for children in central MA and offers comprehensive Pediatric services.
- The only medical facility in Central Massachusetts with physicians who have special training in pediatric epilepsy andelectroencephalography (EEG).
- Programs for cerebral palsy and myelodysplasia
- State-of-the-art neuroimaging and neurophysiology services such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring, inpatient EEG video telemetry and evoked potentials
- Neuropsychology program for assessment of cognitive,academicand behavioral/emotional functioning that are caused by neurology disorders, general medical conditions or developmental disabilities
- Consultation in theNeonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Sleep studies to assist in the relief of symptoms associated withsleep disorders
- Our team works with theCenter for Autism and Neurodevelopment Disorders (CANDO)to provide autism services.
Our Pediatric Neurology faculty:
