BUSINESS BANKING CLIENT MANAGER-ROCKFORD, IL Are you ready to be part of something more? As one of UMB’s leading lines of business, the Business Banking division is focused on clients with revenues of $1mm-$20mm, helping clients with multiple products and services to ensure their companies success and growth. The team is made up of Business Banking Relationship Officers, Treasury Management Officers, Underwriters, Client Managers, and Analysts. This team manages Commercial and Industrial and Practice Finance relationships throughout its life – developing meaningful connections with management of the companies they serve. Always mindful of the changes in the company, its industry, etc., over time that might create a change in their financial service needs. As the Business Banking Client Manager, you will be primarily focused on managing a large client loan portfolio, expanding the loan relationship with the client, and focus on new customer acquisition primarily by leveraging relationships in the client portfolio. These products and services are Commercial & Industrial, Practice Finance and Payment Technology solutions that will entice prospective companies to award new business to UMB. By engaging and building relationships with your clients, you will better understand their business needs and objectives. You have the ability to help clients achieve their financial dreams, streamline business processes and help them better understand their working cash flow needs. How you’ll spend your time: You will utilize your credit skills by negotiating credit arrangements and prepare credit memoranda and supporting documentation with underwriting to ensure all proper information is place for loan decisions. You will utilize your communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders, building relationships to retain business, and building internal partnership with other to ensure client satisfaction. You will continuously monitor the portfolio to ensure the loan is performing to the standard to which it was underwritten. We’re excited to talk with you if: If you have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of up to 3 years banking experience including credit analysis and client management. If you have experience interpreting policies/procedures, loan contracts, and understanding of credit reports, financial statements, and loan documents. Bonus points, if you have demonstrated knowledge of bank products, services, and bank operations. Compensation Range: $76,520.00 - $163,900.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
