What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speciality Corporate Trust Intern position at UMB Bank?
UMB’s Specialty Corporate Trust team offers a variety of trust services to the structure finance world for aviation, rail and real estate. We work with customers based all across the world to onboard their business and administer the trust transactions. Our team supports UMB by brining in direct revenue to the bank in the way of fee revenue and interest income. We offer a niche product and service offering and our team is known around the world as one of a few specialty trust departments that can onboard and administer this unique group of products.
As an intern, you will be provided a thorough overview of the respective area and to allow learning in the financial services industry. This internship will work on a variety of projects; participate in department meetings and activities.

- Meeting with various Corporate Trust members to learn about their roles and impact on the business
- Project meetings and problem-solving
- Collaborating on data analysis, project assimilation, data gathering
- You are currently enrolled in a higher education program as at least a Junior and has demonstrated strong academic performance 2.5 overall GPA
- Skilled with system entry and mathematical formulas
- Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word
