Designs logos and layout designs for print and electronic media including website, magazine, brochures, reports, ads, etc. Understands how to communicate brands visually and effectively.

Job Specific ResponsibilitiesDaily assignments may include but are not limited to :
- Use creative invention and imagination to translates marketing objectives into clear design strategies. Typically working only from the subject matter or concept for the project.
- Design website, magazine, and brochures for UMC hospital and its affiliates
- Translates marketing objectives into clear design strategies
- Communicates UMC brand visually by using graphic design tools and software
- Collaborates with multi-disciplinary departments and service lines to create two and three dimensional art for UMC hospital(s)
- Negotiate print and design materials on the hospital's behalf
- All other assigned duties related to Graphic Art Design

Interaction with Other Departments and Other RelationshipsDaily interaction with other staff within the Marketing department.
Physical CapabilitiesWork involves sitting for extended periods of time at a computer. Occasional lifting boxes up to 20lbs. will be required
