Job SummaryThe Supervisor, Payroll will oversee and supervise payroll operations, ensuring that pay is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
- Participate in staff management to include but not limited to staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluations, employee engagement, and disciplinary actions
- Perform routine examinations payroll records; Facilitate audits, where required.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure accurate and timely completion of bi-weekly payroll, data changes, and information flow
- Prepare reconciliations and check requests related to garnishments, levies, and voluntary deductions.
- Prepare manual checks and issue voids/stop payments as required
- All other related duties assigned under Payroll responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of experience processing payroll in a fast paced environment, preferably a hospital setting
- 2 years of leadership experience, leading people and/or processes

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to use independent judgement with little supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and knowledge of payroll software
Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
Position requires daily interaction with department directors, employees, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Accounting. Position will have occasional interaction with external vendors and government agencies
Physical Capabilities
Occasionally exerts a small amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects. Should be able to lift 10 lbs. Work involves sitting for prolonged periods of time. Hearing acuity is required to be able to accurately transact business dealings

This position is subject to inside environmental conditions, including variations in temperature changes
