What You Will Be Doing
As our Warehouse - Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will receive shipments into our warehouse, ensure the organized storage of products, and ship products to customers in compliance with all applicable regulations. Specifically, this will include:

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility in LaVergne, TN. This is a first shift position, working Monday - Friday.

What You Will Be Doing
As our Warehouse - Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will receive shipments into our warehouse, ensure the organized storage of products, and ship products to customers in compliance with all applicable regulations. Specifically, this will include:
- Operating a forklift, properly loading and unloading trailers and moving material internally as needed;
- For received goods, checking paperwork for accuracy by verifying purchase orders and counts;
- Communicating with freight haulers as needed;
- Preparing documents for shipping;
- Determining proper packaging requirements for outgoing shipments;
- Ensuring outgoing shipments are secure in trailers for shipping;
- Entering shipping/receiving data into applicable software system;
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, DOT, IATA, IMDG, as well as shipping samples of hazardous materials;
- Determining the efficient use of warehouse space and storing materials on a rotational basis; and,
- Performing other duties as needed.

- Computer proficiency;
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, with forklift experience preferred; and,
- Ability to lift 55 lbs and wear a respirator if needed.
