Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Busser, you will assist the waitstaff and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy dining area.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling water glasses and delivering bread or other items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces as necessary.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering functions.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food handling practices is a plus.
