Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with the organization of kitchen storage areas, ensuring that clean dishes are stored appropriately.
- Support catering events or banquets by preparing necessary items and maintaining cleanliness during service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
