Food Runner

Job Summary
The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests by efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service. The Food Runner will work closely with kitchen staff and servers to maintain the flow of service and uphold the restaurant's standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests at their tables.
• Assist servers in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
• Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen.
• Support banquet services by assisting in setup, service, and breakdown of events.

Skills

• Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food handling practices and culinary basics.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Experience in bussing tables and assisting cooks is advantageous but not required.
