Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change
- Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, utensils, and work areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Strong cash handling skills
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is an advantage
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
