Job Overview

Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Ensure accurate order entry using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
- Uphold high standards of service in fine dining or nightclub settings, adapting to the unique atmosphere of each environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques to ensure quality service.
- Ability to sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness according to health regulations.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
