Job Description
The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry is seeking to fill the position of Assistant / Associate Professor or Assistant / Associate Clinical Professor in the Periodontics Department. Position will be filled as tenure / tenure-track or ranked non-tenure track commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience.
The faculty member will have primary responsibilities in the education and clinical supervision of DDS and Advanced Periodontics residents in the field of Periodontology. There is an opportunity for additional compensation in clinical practice for qualified candidates.

The School of Dentistry operates a public student dental clinic and a faculty practice which serve patients throughout the KC metropolitan area. We provide a critical education outlet for Kansas and several other states without a dental school. UMKC is the only institution in Missouri offering advanced education residency programs in General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and Endodontics. The School also provides an Advanced Standing Program. The UMKC School of Dentistry is committed to inclusion.
