Job Description
The part time Research Associate position at 57% FTE (23 hours / week) will be responsible for the following. This is a temporary position for 3 months.
- Run samples and train persons on SEM / EDS system and X ray Diffraction.
- Troubleshoot issues and arrange for billing with equipment.
- Coordinate visits and training of others in Sutton Geosciences Museum
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
PhD in science.Extensive experience on SEM / EDS system, X ray Diffraction, and understanding of rock, mineral and fossils.
Anticipated Hiring Range
28 / hour
