As a Full-Time Exempt Mental Health Counselor and Counseling Services Coordinator, you will have oversight of mental health services to students at UCC. This position provides mental health counseling to students as well as coordinates counseling services to include supervision of practicum and internship students. Serve as a resource for the campus, including short-term personal and crisis counseling, consultation, and providing psychoeducational training/resources to the campus as appropriate. This position also provides resources and makes referrals to community partners providing longer term services for students. This position supports student persistence and retention efforts through the provision of services and support designed to assist students in acquiring the personal and academic skills necessary to achieve educational and career related goals. This position works collaboratively with instructional and student support professionals to provide foundational support services to students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other directly related field from an accredited college or university, required.
- Current Oregon license (or provisional license), or eligible to receive an Oregon license, required. Licenses accepted include: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist. If licensed out of State, the ability to obtain an Oregon license either prior to start date, or within a very short period post start is expected.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with students and/or individuals from diverse social, economic, academic, and cultural backgrounds.
- At least three years of mental health counseling experience post-graduation.
- Experience facilitating small-group and instructional sessions and developing workshops and/or trainings.
- Knowledge of and ability to incorporate Trauma-Informed and strengths-based models for service delivery and organizational structure.
