As a Student Worker in the position of Public Land Corps Facilities Maintenance Technician Intern, you will be paired with U.S. Forest Service facilities maintenance specialists to complete variety of tasks in the Umpqua National Forest throughout the summer operating season. You will be stationed at the Diamond Lake Ranger Station in Toketee, OR. US Forest Service will provide housing in Toketee.

PUBLIC LAND CORPS (PLC) CAREER PATHWAY: Students that satisfactorily complete 640 hours of intern work through the PLC program can qualify to apply as an internal candidate for positions at the US Forest Service.

Required Qualifications:
- UCC Student: Minimum of 6 credits at UCC in quarter either prior to or during internship. Educational reimbursement covers tuition and fees for 6 credits of Cooperative Work Experience.
- Oregon Driver’s License: Driver’s license required unless medical condition prevents licensing.
