As the Manager, Behavioral Health, you’ll be the captain of our behavioral health care coordination ship, leading the team to success and making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll work your magic to improve the lives of our members while navigating the world of healthcare, all while ensuring we meet those important performance metrics and regulatory standards. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Like a Boss: Take charge of the behavioral health care coordination team, ensuring they’re in sync with our organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Policy Wizard: Create and fine-tune policies and procedures that not only enhance care coordination but also make a real difference in our members’ outcomes.
- Strategic Visionary: Lead case reviews and spearhead initiatives that boost care coordination and make our members smile.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Work hand-in-hand with senior management and other departments to align our care coordination efforts with the big picture goals.
- Healthcare Guru: Share your wisdom and be the go-to expert in care coordination, member advocacy, and all things healthcare regulation.
- Mentor Extraordinaire: Help identify and mentor future leaders, growing a strong, talented team for the road ahead.
- Community Connector: Represent us at external meetings, working with healthcare providers, community organizations, and regulatory bodies to promote great care coordination.
- Data Detective: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate outcomes, making sure we stay on the right track and make improvements where needed.
- Other Fun Stuff: Perform other duties as assigned to support Umpqua Health’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: You’ve spent 5 years in clinical settings and have some solid leadership experience under your belt.
- Case management, utilization management, or disease management for 3 years preferred
- Licenses and Certifications: You’re a licensed professional (RN, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) with a current Oregon license.
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification preferred.
- Drive for Success: You’re passionate about improving outcomes, building teams, and leading initiatives that truly make a difference in people’s lives.

Rate varies on experience, education, location $85,000-$95,000
