The Role :

The Quality Coordinator is a pivotal member of the QualityDepartment, tasked with supporting quality improvement initiatives and ensuringcompliance with NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) accreditationstandards. This role encompasses coordinating quality-related activities, datamanagement, and assisting in accreditation processes while also providingsupport for CLAS (Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services) andequity initiatives. The Quality Coordinator is instrumental in fostering aculture of quality and equity within the organization. The Quality Coordinatorplays a vital role in supporting the Quality Department's efforts to achieveand maintain NCQA accreditation while driving quality improvement initiativesand promoting equity in healthcare delivery. This position requires a proactiveand detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality, equity, andimproving health outcomes for all!

Your Impact :

  • Assist in preparing for NCQA accreditationsurveys, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate documentation and datacollection efforts to facilitate accreditation submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments toaddress compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the development and implementationof quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing member outcomes andsatisfaction.
  • Analyze quality performance data toidentify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for intervention.
  • Participate in quality improvementcommittees and workgroups to drive initiatives and monitor progress.
  • Manage and maintain quality-related datasystems and databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and security.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to monitorkey quality metrics, performance indicators, and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and validationchecks to uphold data integrity and reliability.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews toassess compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, andorganizational policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement andcollaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and preventivemeasures.
  • Assist in developing and maintainingpolicies, procedures, and protocols related to quality assurance andcompliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrateCLAS principles into quality improvement initiatives and processes.
  • Support efforts to address healthdisparities and promote health equity within the organization and thecommunities served.
  • Provide guidance and training onculturally competent care and equitable service delivery to staff members.
  • Perform other duties and supportdeliverables as assigned by the organization to help drive our Vision, fulfillour Mission, and abide by our Organizations Values.

Your Credentials :

  • Bachelor's degree in HealthcareAdministration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's degreepreferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience inhealthcare quality management, quality improvement, or related field.
  • Familiarity with NCQA accreditationstandards and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiencyin data management and analysis tools / software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication,and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizetasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in project management andquality improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Knowledge of CLAS principles andcommitment to health equity initiatives.
  • Certification in Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ)is advantageous.
