Role and Responsibilities
The DevOps Analyst completes assigned tasks in the FedEx Systems Analytics environment to meet the overall project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve system visibility and application performance through advanced monitoring, metrics, and log analytics.
- Code configurations and deploy software engineering (SWE) team applications to monitoring platforms.
- Design and optimize enterprise tools to reduce resource usage?
- Develop visualization tools to provide insight on enterprise resource usage.
- ?Write and execute automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Monitor workflow queues, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve problems alongside customer and client teams.
- Communicate development goals and workflow progress with customer, client, and internal teams?
- Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability, and performance.
- Document results and implement solutions?
- Monitor and optimize enterprise resource usage for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in team and client meetings to align goals, share updates, and strategize improvements.
- Adhere to UMRFV guidelines and policies
- Additional responsibilities are defined between the Technical Supervisor and the employee depending on company needs and the employee’s availability
