Job Description
This position provides student support by evaluating incoming transfer courses to the UMSL equivalent courses and working with academic advisors and departments to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
Evaluate and create transfer credit equivalencies for transfer students to UMSL.
Maintain the accuracy of transfer rules in the course equivalence database and student records.
Assist Academic Advisors and students with issues related to degree audit.
Represent the Degree Audit office on the UMSL campus in committees and meetings as it relates to transfer credit processing.
Act as a backup for course entry and degree audit programming and other duties assigned.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
Shift
8am – 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Some course curriculum knowledge and understanding of learning objectives.
A reasonable confront level with public speaking.
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solution and Perceptive Content software.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $21.28 - $30.29 per hour
Grade: GGS-09
