- Network Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee and maintain critical network infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
- Virtual Systems: Maintain and support virtual systems within the company’s network environment.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all network operations and systems comply with company security policies and industry standards.
- System Upgrades: Implement and maintain infrastructure for new projects and system upgrades.
- Network Resource Monitoring: Monitor network resource utilization and optimize performance.
- Technical Support: Coordinate with internal customers, vendors, and Drake's parent company to resolve technological and procedural issues affecting Drake employees.
- Automation: Automate processes throughout the company using various software tools (e.g., scripting/custom application development).
- Continual Learning: Participate in further training to stay updated in the ever-changing IT environment.
- Network Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network documentation, ensuring system configurations and changes are well-documented.
- Project Implementation: Implement infrastructure for new projects and upgrades while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field such as Computer Science.
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
- Networking Knowledge: At least 5 years of experience with networking hardware and concepts.
- Scripting Skills: 2 years of experience with Powershell scripting.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for the role.
