Overview
We are seeking a Certified IAITAM professional with over 7 years of experience in IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM) and process efforts from design to implementation and improvement. As a valued East West Bank team member, this position will focus on utilizing IT Asset Management best practices, tools and methodologies to develop industry standard CMDB.
Responsibilities
- Execute recurring procedures related to asset management
- Manual processes controls to ensure our automated processes continue to provide accurate and consistent asset management database data
- Ensure existing validation failures are mitigated.
- Maintain / support asset management system post release.
- Expand Asset Management functionality to integrate with other IT processes, change, incident, problem etc.
- Once change management is in Jira, data consistency reviewer for change submissions.
- Craft and uphold thorough IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and oversee all IT assets from acquisition to retirement.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.
- Verify assets with contracts, confirm hardware assets with actual inventory, and initiate corrective action and tract them.
- Assist in building and maintaining accurate CMDB.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to track IT asset related documents such as Purchase Orders and Contracts.
- Ensure adherence to vendor agreements and optimize software license usage.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including detailed configurations and usage data.
- Identify opportunities for asset optimization and cost reduction through consolidation, standardization, and retirement.
- Offer recommendations for asset procurement and retirement based on usage analysis and industry standards.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity protocols.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

The base pay range for this position is USD $140,000.00 / Yr. - USD $170,000.00 / Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
