Responsibilities Include:
Quality Check Lead: 50% of time
- Take the lead on quality check, working to achieve company standards, making sure orders are passing through appropriately. Training provided.
- Strives to reduce quality check edits by making minor fixes as needed, primarily hand-sewn but occasionally machine stitched:
- Examples include stitching down loose corners, gluing down angel heads, stitching down beads if necessary, adding charms as needed, adding purse chains, minor trim/applique repairs, etc.)
- Must be comfortable offering precise and kind feedback to team leaders regarding the quality of their team's output and the nature of the edits that must be done to achieve the company's high quality of standard. N
- Maintain a log of orders that are sent back with accompanying details and suggestions for notes for the future.Maintaining quality check standards and station - responsible for maintaining a well-stocked station.
Production Assistant: 15% of time
- Assist Production Manager in responsibilities as needed.
- Take primary responsibility for inventory organization and maintenance - alert production manager to potential ordering needs, responsible for drawing up initial list of needs for the floor each month but not for creating the finalized ordering list.
Sewist: 35% of time
1. Assist sewing teams as needed with deconstruction and construction as asked, must be comfortable with taking direction and being held to a high standard of sewing construction.
2. Potential for taking on individual orders or assisting pods as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.57 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
