Job Summary
Unbridled Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team at the historic Hotel St. Cloud. As a Hotel Assistant Manager, you will be the primary support to the Hotel Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service and facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Assist the Hotel Manager in managing all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and sales.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance with policies, and adherence to brand standards.
- Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Guest Services:
- Ensure exceptional guest service by setting service standards, training staff, and directly addressing guest complaints or special requests.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement necessary improvements.
Staff Supervision:
- Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to perform at their best.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, and oversee staff development programs.
- Ensure all team members understand and comply with hotel safety and security procedures.
Financial Management:
- Assist with budget preparation, revenue management, and cost control measures.
- Monitor departmental expenses and contribute to financial planning and analysis.
Sales and Marketing:
- Support sales efforts by participating in sales meetings, understanding market trends, and contributing to marketing strategies.
- Help in promoting hotel services through various channels to increase occupancy and revenue.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain quality assurance by conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Administration:
- Manage administrative tasks such as report generation, inventory control, and coordination with external vendors.
- Handle correspondence and ensure proper documentation of hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
- Management Experience: Direct experience in managing teams, overseeing daily operations, or leading departments is crucial.
