- Compensation is commensurate upon education & experience - range is $18.00/hour or more (depending on education & experience). Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment from the new hire orientation date. This position is a non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to the medical assistant team, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
- Perform clinical duties including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with minor procedures.
- Conduct training for new medical assistants and provide ongoing education to the team.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Foster positive patient experiences by interacting with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring medical supplies are stocked and maintained.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required at the time of hire.
- Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the medical field required, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Required Registration/License/Certification:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required at time of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required at time of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the team.
- Proficiency in medical assisting duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and clinical workflows efficiently.
- Ability to problem-solve and implement solutions for clinical operations.
