- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required.
- Masters prepared Exercise Physiologist with teaching experience, preferred.

- Two years of work experience (or equivalent clinical internship) specific to Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.

- Certifications related to the field of exercise physiology and diagnostic cardiac/pulmonary function will be considered important and/or required. A desire to work with special populations in the area of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation fitness and wellness is mandatory
- BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained from American Heart Association at the time of employment
- (ACLS) certification obtained from American Heart Association within one year of hire

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The job also requires that an individual be able to perform this job without direct on site supervision. This individual must possess excellent organizational skills, teaching skills, interpersonal skills and supervisory skills. Certifications related to the field of exercise physiology and diagnostic cardiac/pulmonary function will be considered important and/or required. A desire to work with special populations in the area of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation fitness and wellness is mandatory.
