- Compensation is commensurate upon education & experience – range is $30.50/hour or more (depending on education & experience). Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment from the new hire orientation date. This position is a non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with oncologists and physicists to develop and execute treatment plans.
- Administer radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy.
- Educate and prepare patients for therapy sessions and address their concerns.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring its optimal function.
- Monitor patients during treatments, documenting any changes in condition.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments.
Required Registration/License/Certification:
- Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required at time of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
- Proactive in educating patients and addressing their concerns.
- In-depth knowledge of radiation safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Strong record-keeping skills and effective communication.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, move, and operate radiation therapy equipment.
- Manual dexterity for precise treatment planning and delivery.
- Visual acuity to assess both patients and equipment.
- Physical stamina to manage the demands of a clinical setting.
Working Conditions:
- Direct patient contact and exposure to bodily fluids.
- Work environment may include exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
- Adherence to standard precautions and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
