THE POSITION
Join a dedicated team as a RN Injury Prevention/Performance Improvement Specialist for the Trauma unit at UNC Health Blue Ridge where you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to patients. This role assumes accountability for developing, supporting, coordinating, and presenting trauma education/prevention activities within the hospital and at the community level. This would include but not limited to, providing information to all involved parties, coordinating performance improvement activities as indicated, and implementing community activities to promote trauma awareness and prevention. Must have licenses to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, TNCC, BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association and ACLS certification.
