What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Technologist position at UNC Health Southeastern?
POSITION SUMMARY: Assists with the performance of diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures. Evaluates quality of images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required: ARRT certified and completion of formal training program in Radiography BCLS certified; Proficient in application of diagnostic radiologic procedures, and knowledge of anatomy gained through experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred: Associate Degree in radiography. 1-2 years of interventional experience.
