Job Details

  • Registered Nurse position at UNC Health Wayne
  • 3x12's or 4x12 shifts, PM, 7p-7a
  • Every other weekend required
  • Inpatient area requires report-in time within 1 hour of being called back
  • Average 200 patients per day, works off a 4 : 1 ratio, 25 / 7 supervisor coverage
  • Stabilizes trauma patients and transfers to Level 1 ED
  • Must sign up for 1, 12-hr shift of on-call in a 6-week period
  • All units may handle COVID patients
  • No flu or TDAP exemptions or declinations accepted

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, ASLS
  • Prefer TNCC and ENPC certification
  • Strongly prefer CPI certification
  • Required to have IV start skills
  • Experience in conscious sedation and triage preferred

    • Schedule Information

  • Contract length : 13 weeks
  • Shifts include 8, 10 & 12 hours
  • Must include RTO in submittal at time of offer

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit may handle COVID patients
  • Must float to like acuities or less if needed

    • Additional Details

  • Qualivis - I9 or Attestation Required
  • Qualivis - Gov. Issued Photo ID
  • Qualivis - E-Verify or Attestation Required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention cert OR Calm Every Storm online certification acceptable
