Summary :
UNC Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Applications Developer. This critical role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our enterprise-wide PACS and related imaging systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of clinical imaging workflows and have extensive experience with Sectra IDS7, DICOM Systems Unifier DICOM Router, Hyland Acuo VNA, and other related imaging applications.
Responsibilities include :
- Administer, maintain, and support the Sectra IDS7 PACS, DICOM Systems Unifier DICOM Router, and associated imaging applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal system performance.
- Implement application upgrades, patches, and enhancements including the oversight of system security patches and interventions.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Develops and maintains support documentation, provide technical training and consultation to teammates.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Manage small to intermediate PACS projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate problems, and track fixes into releases.
