Job Description
Job Title : Vascular Technologist
Profession : Vascular Technologist

Experience : 4 years of dedicated vascular lab experience
License : Required
Certifications : RDCS, RVT, RCS, ACS, RCCS
Must-Have : CPR, Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology or related field or completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program
Description :
Performs vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing.
Writes preliminary reports and communicates acute findings to the care team.
Obtains pertinent patient health history prior to examination.
Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use.
Responsible for timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
Troubleshoots and identifies any equipment problems and reports to the appropriate supervisor.
May perform staff training and education.
Works three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7 : 30 am to 7 : 30 pm.
